BIG NEUK was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. As a child growing up, he faced many struggles that you will soon hear about in his music. As a teenager there were many harmful distractions, but he found himself drawn to the reality of street music. He began to hunger for the microphone, performing his songs for anybody that would listen, including clubs, colleges, local block parties and showcases.
As the culture built-up around him, hip hop music began to grow faster. He watched and listened to the music of fellow Brooklynites Biggie & Jay-Z who left lasting impressions on him. Their success only fueled the desire that was already there to keep grinding. Those lasting impressions of the greats have and still continue to motivate BIG NEUK on his journey to give you his interpretation of hip hop.
BIG NEUK has worked out of the studios of Ed Robinson, (Artist/Producer) who has worked with Snoop Dogg, Warren G, E-40, Shabba Ranks, Buju Banton, and many more. He began further promoting himself with two releases. His first two singles were titled “Wartime” and “Run They Gonna Kill Yall.” BIG NEUK was also featured in Spice Magazine as an up and coming Brooklyn Artist. He’s done Promo’s for Power 105.1’s own Ed Lover, as well as collaborated with various artists.
BIG NEUK is arranging music with concepts that can interest the world. He feels that his music gives a sense of hope and courage in our urban streets. BIG NEUK is determined to get closer & closer to where he envisions himself in this music industry.
He’s confident that if the right person listens to his music he may be given the opportunity to leave his mark on the industry that places him among with the greats.
